Packaging for a luxury boutique product with a backstory. The product: paint. The demographic: tweens. Inspired by the modern "selfie" set against the self-portraits of Frida Kahlo, the narrative goes as follows: this brand of paint is mixed by Kahlo's niece with pigments from the original flowers grown in her garden at La Casa Azul. Each color is named for a symbolic element found in Kahlo's paintings that represented some aspect of herself. Tweens are encouraged to follow her example and paint their own story. Student work.
